Repliva 21/7™ is the first prescription iron supplement that provides two complementary and highly bioavailable, well tolerated sources of iron, in a convenient dosing regimen. In addition, Repliva 21/7™ provides two absorption promoters – ascorbic acid and succinic acid – in one convenient tablet to further enhance the absorption and utilization of iron.

Repliva 21/7™ provides less total iron per month than currently available daily therapies, yet hemoglobin levels increase 2 grams in month one and 3.5 grams by month three. At the same time, Repliva 21/7™ is well tolerated with half the incidence of gastrointestinal side effects compared to a traditional iron therapy. Thus, patients can enjoy once-daily, well-tolerated therapy, with a 7-day iron-free interval once per monthly cycle, yet expect to experience similar increases in hematological parameters to those patients requiring chronic iron therapy, often dosed multiple times per day.
